Welcome to week 7 entitled. #MindsetMonday Changing The Belief, “I don’t like training alone.”  Look you should be active every day and I’ve heard all of the excuses including this one.  I also know I have heard this one so many times before and that is one of the reason’s that I created Fit 1 Bootcamp to include groups.  Though I do understand that it is common for people to want to work out with other like-minded individuals and appreciate and honor that, the reality is you end up being so focused, driven and intense in class you usually don’t find the time to hang out with anyone of them in the process.  But, what you do get, is the pleasure and support that group classes afford you.

I don’t believe that having a training partner is nearly as important as having a training coach.  Good thing you get both of these opportunities here at Fit 1 Bootcamp. If you are in a situation where you have to work out alone, such as traveling is preventing you to come to class, take the opportunity to really focus on things like proper technique.  Take your mind off of the way you normally train and place it on something new… for the moment!

Change It Today

  1. Change the way you train.  Spend the workout focusing your attention on something new, like reaching a new goal, or mastering technique.  You will be too busy achieving a goal and forget all about who is and or isn’t there with you.
Think It and Say It
  • I am focused on what I can achieve today.
  • I am self-motivated.
  • I exercise each day no matter what.
  • I am focused on my technique today.
Power Thought For Today

I can do it!
